General/Summary:
Fun game. Definitely worth the 14.99 price. Does get monotonous after a while because you must win each course 4 times before moving on to the next race course. Ther AI is ruthless and basically cheats: catches up WAY too fast after dropping behind and intentionally knocks bouys in front of you, while they seem to be nearly unaffected by anything you might do to slow them down.
Gameplay:
Gameplay is above average (besides the previously mentioned minuses). Controls are good and replay value is good. Wish there was an option to enable force feedback. This game begs for force feedback sticks and wheels!
Graphics:
Incredible graphics. Runs well on my machine at 1024x768, although there can be a slow down at times when things get busy, but this even occurs at lower resolutions. The slowdowns do not interfere with gameplay at all for me. The transparent water and rich skies really add to the immersion factor in the game
Sound:
Average. Nothing spectacular and nothing really bad. Just typical boat sounds |
